Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall design, implementation, configuration, administration & maintenance of Azure cloud infrastructure. The candidate should be proficient in design, Implementation, Troubleshooting & pro-active maintenance while ensuring system integrity and maximum availability of the underlying infrastructure. Working in a Global environment, the candidate should have a hands-on approach capable of working across teams and time zones.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Primary point responsible for the overall operability, resiliency, performance, and capacity of owned production services. - Collaborate with all other vertical Engineering Leads to execute strategic changes in the Infrastructure/Network/Security based on the product roadmap.
• Manage West Pharma's portfolio of Azure cloud across the landscape vis-a-vis development, quality & mission-critical production environments.
• Primary contact for all administration like Design, Installation, Configuration, Backup & Recovery, Performance Tuning, Scripting etc.
• Performing scheduled maintenance & patch deployment to ensure compliance.
• Knowledge & experience in setting up High Availability (HA) & Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
• Experience with Environment Monitoring, Performance Tuning and Optimization.
• Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to other peers and team members.
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing end-to-end problem resolution.
• Experience in maintaining cloud-based platforms for networking, compute & storage.
• Responsible to setup & document production policies, security baseline, procedures & instructions.
• Responsible for ensuring SoX & GxP compliance along with Audit support.
• Ability to work and align with different teams in a global virtual environment with L3 production support as required.

Education and Experience:

• Diploma/Bachelor/Master’s degree with at least 16+ years of experience in infrastructure domain with at-least 10-12 years in designing & implementing cloud solutions
