This is a full-time role focused on IT Projects with the ability to deliver against business requirements. As a SharePoint architect, the person will work on a variety of projects and will be a technical resource for ongoing design, development and operational activities on SharePoint Online. The architect will be a Subject Matter Expert for SharePoint Online projects using the Power platform SPFx framework.

Additionally, the person will ensure that all development practices are in compliance with Merck’s best practices policies and procedures.

  *Skills Required:*

 * Should have strong experience in designing the solution using the Office365 platform.

 * Career progression from a technical development background, with proven experience in the architecture, design, and development of large complex applications and services using Microsoft SharePoint (Online) and Microsoft .NET technologies.

 * Proven experience in the development of SPFx web parts and extensions.

 * Proven experience and a solid understanding of Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI).

 * Good knowledge of C#/.Net, SQL Server, and Web technologies like React JS

 * Knowledge of Azure Services/APIs/Functions and PowerShell Scripts.

 * Experience in SharePoint Designer Workflows.

 * Experience in SharePoint Administration and Customization, Farm topology, SharePoint Security features, Authentication, and capacity planning would be an added advantage

 * Must have hands-on experience in developing components using SharePoint CSOM, JSOM, REST API, and TypeScript.

 * Strong understanding of modern SharePoint site concepts, including communication sites, hub sites, and modern pages.

 * Experience with SharePoint Lists, Libraries, Views, and Content Types.

 * Must possess a strong understanding of SharePoint security implementation and configuration

 * Good coding capabilities and requirement understanding.

 * Strong Technical leadership - should be able to propose/build technical solutions.

  *Qualifications and Experience:*

 * Minimum 8-10 yrs of relevant work experience

 * Provide information management technical expertise to staff on the use of Microsoft 365 applications SharePoint, Forms, Lists, Power Automate, and related platforms.

 * Working knowledge of the Power Platform Power Apps, Power Automate, PowerBI

 * You will have knowledge of Microsoft 365 and experience in information/records/data management or information/data governance.

 * Analytical skills to find solutions to problems with the ability to communicate effectively to end users.
