| Responsibilities | We are seeking a New Relic SME with expertise in monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting complex applications and infrastructure to ensure optimal system performance and reliability. This role will be responsible for L2/L3 level support, ensuring proactive incident management, issue resolution, and system optimization using New Relic APM and other observability tools. Key Responsibilities: Provide L2/L3 level monitoring and support for applications and infrastructure using New Relic APM. Monitor application performance, logs, and system health, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks. Analyze incidents, troubleshoot issues, and provide root cause analysis (RCA) to minimize downtime. Configure dashboards, alerts, and anomaly detection for proactive monitoring. Work closely with development, DevOps, and IT operations teams to optimize system performance and reliability. Automate monitoring processes and integrate observability solutions with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). Perform log analysis and distributed tracing to diagnose and resolve application issues. Document best practices, incident reports, and troubleshooting guidelines for L1 support teams. Stay updated on observability trends and best practices to improve monitoring strategies. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in New Relic APM and observability tools. Expertise in L2/L3 monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution. Strong knowledge of application performance monitoring, logging, and system reliability. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Hands-on experience with log management tools (Splunk, ELK, Datadog) and distributed tracing. Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on system performance. Excellent communication and documentation skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: New Relic, AWS, or Kubernetes certifications. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. |
