5+ years 

Requirements   

• 3+ years of experience in New Relic APM and observability tools. 

• Expertise in L2/L3 monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident resolution. 

• Strong knowledge of application performance monitoring, logging, and system reliability. 

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). 

• Hands-on experience with log management tools (Splunk, ELK, Datadog) and distributed tracing. 

• Proficiency in scripting/automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash. 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on system performance. 

• Excellent communication and documentation skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams. 

Preferred skills: 

• New Relic, AWS, or Kubernetes certifications. 

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. 

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices. 

Roles and responsibilities   

• Provide L2/L3 level monitoring and support for applications and infrastructure using New Relic APM. 

• Monitor application performance, logs, and system health, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks. 

• Analyze incidents, troubleshoot issues, and provide root cause analysis (RCA) to minimize downtime. 

• Configure dashboards, alerts, and anomaly detection for proactive monitoring. 

• Work closely with development, DevOps, and IT operations teams to optimize system performance and reliability. 

• Automate monitoring processes and integrate observability solutions with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). 

• Perform log analysis and distributed tracing to diagnose and resolve application issues. 

• Document best practices, incident reports, and troubleshooting guidelines for L1 support teams. 

• Stay updated on observability trends and best practices to improve monitoring strategies.
