Have a passion for technology and willingness to explore and adopt emerging technologies for practical business purposes. Bring an upbeat, positive attitude while enjoying working with an agile team to develop innovative technical solutions to help enable business growth and improve customer satisfaction. Be apt at quickly understanding new business domains and be creative and thoughtful about applying technology to improve processes and issues. Ability to quickly build proof-of-concept solutions that are forward looking to how they could be implemented on a larger scale. Demonstrated experience modeling the innovation behaviors of questioning, observing, experimenting, networking, and associating. Be self-motivated with good time management skills. Ability to identify issues, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis. Demonstrated knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices. Experience in working with newer technologies and cloud concepts Openness and willingness to cross-skill and train in Dynamics AX / D365. | Responsibilities | Supports innovation through creative application of software and cloud architecture, design, and development. Troubleshoots application errors and other technical issues while working closely with other IT team members. Collaborates with in-house technical, functional, and end user team members, as well as third-party vendors. Modifies application user interface code and extends back-end logic based on business requirements. Participates on estimations and impact assessments of all changes being requested, in partnership with the Business Analysts. Creates and executes unit tests and provides input into regression testing considerations. Engages the implementation project team and users to architect and develop sustainable and well performing application solutions. Produces technical specifications based on functional design specifications (customizations, integrations, interfaces, reporting). Gaining knowledge and experience with Allegion business processes, other ERP platforms, and strategic software platforms. Performs debugging and unit testing of application solutions and integrations as needed. Seeks opportunities to reduce complexity and improve application performance. Creates and updates required documentation to support the system and users. |
