Responsibilities Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled AWS Administrator with 3-5 years of experience, specifically in managing cloud environments and leading on-premises to AWS cloud migration projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining scalable AWS solutions, ensuring a smooth transition of workloads from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, design, and optimize cloud-based solutions while maintaining operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Migration and Deployment:
Lead the migration of on-premises infrastructure, applications, and services to AWS.
Develop migration plans, conduct assessments, and design architectures for seamless cloud transitions.
Execute lift-and-shift, rehosting, replatforming, and refactoring strategies based on project requirements.
AWS Infrastructure Management:
Design, deploy, and manage scalable and highly available AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.).
Optimize cloud environments for performance, cost efficiency, and security.
Monitoring and Maintenance:
Implement cloud monitoring solutions using tools like CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party solutions.
Manage backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability configurations.
Automation and CI/CD:
Automate deployments, monitoring, and patching processes using tools like AWS CLI, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for smooth software delivery.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure AWS environments adhere to industry security and compliance standards (e.g., SOC2, ISO, GDPR).
Manage access controls, security groups, and IAM policies to protect cloud resources.
Collaboration and Support:
Collaborate with application, development, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end cloud solutions.
Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and provide technical support for AWS services.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices.


Qualifications:
Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience as an AWS Administrator or Cloud Engineer.
Migration Expertise: Proven experience with on-premises to AWS cloud migration (lift-and-shift, replatforming, or refactoring).

Technical Skills:
Strong experience with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and Lambda.
Proficiency in cloud infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows systems administration.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CodePipeline).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana).
Security Knowledge: Understanding of AWS security best practices, IAM, and compliance frameworks.
Scripting Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
Certifications: AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate (or equivalent certification) preferred.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with hybrid cloud environments.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
Knowledge of cost optimization tools and techniques in AWS.
